JEE Mains and NEET postponed again?
So the answer is YES. There is an official announcement from the NTA (National Test Agency) and HRD Ministry about the postponement of JEE Mains and NEET.
Reason for postponement of JEE Mains and NEET :
But there are big chances that JEE Mains and NEET will get postpone because the Corona cases are rising rapidly. Soon Delhi will hit the 1 lakh patients and Maharastra has already crossed 1.5 lakhs patients.
Even parents are requested for postponement of JEE Mains and NEET. Every day thousands of students and parents tweeted to HRD Minister for postponement exams.
JEE Mains and NEET are two biggest exams of engineering and medical respectively. More than 10 lakh applicants are there for JEE Mains and more than 15 lakh for NEET. Organizing exams with such a big number of students is the main problem. As per the guidelines of the government to protect yourself from COVID-19, one should avoid going to crowded places and maintain 3 feet distance with each other. For any exam center, it is very difficult to avoid the crowd and maintaining 3 feet distance.
So, these reasons are enough to justify the JEE Mains and NEET postpone.
